          Parimarjan Negi Complete Bio & Career

          Negi began his chess career as a professional player in the year 2002. He participated in the Asian Youth Championship which was held in Tehran.

          He registered for the under 10 division and won the championship. Till date, he has earned three Grand Master titles.

          A young boy from Delhi, Parimarjan Negi achieved his GM title at the age of 13 years 4 months and 22 days becoming the second youngest GM behind Sergey.

          In the year 2005, at the Hastings International Chess Competition, he tasted his first success as a Grand Master. His 2nd GM title came from Parsvnath International Open Chess tournament which was held in Delhi. 

           

          Negi’s third GM title was a memorable one where he managed to draw the game with chess Grandmaster RuslanSherbakov in Russia.
