Dr. Charles C. Fennell received his Ph.D. in history from West Virginia University in 1992. His dissertation was titled, “The Battle of Culp’s Hill.” Dr.
Fennell believes that Culp’s Hill saw some of the most important if not the most important actions during the Battle of Gettysburg.
